Following structurally Gothic model fortified church three staggered ships and crenellated tower, this temple, started around 1488, seems to pass next to the so-called "Manueline", only patent in the wreath head and Mudejar ceiling.

On the other hand features innovative Renaissance language in the axial portals, south side and triumphal arch of the Lord's Chapel of the Navigators, with influences of Spanish Plateresque.
